The front man of The Killers will release his debut solo album this September.

Brandon Flowers will release, Flamingo, on 3 September.

Stuart Price, Daniel Lanois, and Brendan O’Brien co-produced the new album.

The first single off the new record will be ‘Crossfire’.

Flower’s solo project comes as The Killers take a hiatus from touring and recording after seven years together.

The Killers released their debut studio album, Hot Fuss, in 2004 a year after singing with Island records.

The band released their second album, Sam’s Town in 2006.
