Florence and The Machine

Florence and The Machine has added extra dates to her Australian shows.

The UK singer aka Florence Welch has added a second show for the Sydney and Melbourne legs of her August tour.

Tickets for her Sydney and Melbourne shows sold out within 10 minutes and 30 minutes respectively.

The singer’s Perth show is close to selling out.

Commenting on the sell out shows, Welch said: “I’m so excited to be coming back to Australia, and when I heard the news of these shows selling out so quickly I couldn’t believe it. My Australian fans are amazing.

“I heard about the petitions in Adelaide too, which is so lovely. I wish I could have stayed longer to play there but sadly I have other commitments which mean that I have to leave straight after the show in Perth. I’ll make sure I play Adelaide next time I tour Australia.”

Florence and The Machine will be in Australia this July as part of the Splendour In The Grass festival.
