The Boat People have released a taste of their third album with a new single and music video.

The Brisbane outfit have released the music video for single, Soporific.

Soporific has been lifted off the band’s new album, Dear Darkly.

Soporific was recorded with Jonathon Burnside (Sleepy Jackson, Dappled Cities), John Castle (Washington) and Joe Hammond.

Dear Darkly is the follow up from the band’s 2009 release, Echo Stick Guitars.

The Boat People will release their new album in June.
