Operator Please

Operator Please will release their much anticipated second studio album in April.

The Gold Coast outfit will release ‘Gloves’ on Friday 23 April.

The band has spent the past 12 months working on their new album, choosing to record the largely self produced release at a Byron Bay farm and front woman Amandah Wilkinson’s lounge room.

Commenting on the band’s new release, Wilkinson said: “The album is the perfect representation for where we are at right now.

“It has all the experiences and growth from touring, seeing places and discovering the new; encompassed into about 35 minutes of songs.”

The first single off the album, Logic, has been added to the band’s myspace page, two weeks ahead of its official release.

Gloves is the follow up from Operator Please’s 2007 debut, Yes, Yes Vindictive.

Operator Please will perform music off their new album at this month’s Future Music Festival. See below for dates.

Saturday Feb 27, Brisbane
Sunday Feb 28, Perth
