Massive Attack
Massive Attack will head to Australia this March for a limited date tour.
The UK group will kick off their tour on Friday March 12 in Perth before heading to Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
Massive Attack will release their fifth studio album, ‘Heligoland’, this year.
The band released their first new material in three years last October.
The UK outfit released a new four track EP on October 2 2009.
Massive Attack has sort collaboration from a series of artist for both their new EP and full length album.
The new EP features Robert Del Naja, Grant Marshall and Horace Andy on lead track, Splitting The Atom’, while TV On The Radio front man Tunde Adebimpe guests on ‘Pray For Rain’.
The EP also has remixes of two new tracks, ‘Psyche’ and ‘Bulletproof Love’.
Meanwhile, Massive Attack’s new album will feature Damon Albarn, Hope Sandoval, Martina Topley-Bird, Guy Garvey and Tunde Adebimpe.
The band’s new album is the follow up to their 2006 record, Collected.
