John Butler Trio

John Butler Trio will head off on an international tour next year.

The Perth outfit will tour across the US and Canada in February.

The international tour follows on from the band’s Australian shows this January.

Both tours are in support of the band’s fifth studio album, April Uprising.

Butler chose the title ‘April Uprising’ after he took part in the SBS documentary series ‘Who Do You Think We Are’.

In June this year, Butler announced Melbourne musician Nicky Bomba (drums and percussion) and bass player Byron Luiters from Sydney outfit Ray Mann Three as new members of his trio.
