Ok Go will return with their much anticipated new album in early 2010.

The US outfit will release, Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky, in February next year.

The 13 track record is the long-awaited follow-up to their 2007 release, Oh No.

Commenting on the new album, lead singer Damian Kulash said: “It’s not so much that we headed in a new direction. I think we’ve just expended the guitar-rock ideas from our teens and we’re starting to get at more root-level influences.

“There’s a lot of Purple Rain on this record – an album I haven’t stopped listening to since I got it when I was eleven.”

The first single off the new album will be ‘WTF’.

WTF will be released to radio on 7 December.
