Echo & The Bunnymen

Echo & The Bunnymen has announced a number of solo Australian side shows for 2010.

The UK band will play a number of headlining shows kicking off in January next year.

The band will be in the country to perform as part of the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.

The tour is in support of their tenth studio album, The Fountain.

The Bunnymen formed when Ian McCulloch met guitarist Will Sergeant in the summer of 1978 in Liverpool when the pair began recording demos with a drum machine that the duo called “Echo.”

The band will release The Fountain on 5 December.
