Angie Hart chose to record her new album with a local team of artists and producers rather than jet off overseas.

The Melbourne singer worked on her new album, Eat My Shadow, with local artists including Ben Lee, Crayon Fields and The Drones.

Hart co-wrote the album with Aussie veteran Hunters and Collectors front man Mark Seymour.

Artist and producer Shane Nicholson (Pretty Violent Stain, Kasey Chambers) produced the new album.

The first single off the album is ‘I’m Afraid of Fridays’.

Eat My Shadow is the follow up from Hart’s 2007 debut solo album, Grounded Bird.

Hart will tour in support of her new album this weekend.
