Mumford & Sons

Mumford & Sons has signed on with indie Aussie label, Drew Process.

The UK folk outfit will release their debut record, Sigh No More, next month.

Producer Markus Dravus (Arcade Fire, Bjork) recorded the album in Eastcote Studios (Arctic Monkeys, Brian Eno, Laura Marling).

The first single off the album will be, ‘Little Lion Man’.

Mumford and Sons formed in 2007 and are Marcus Mumford, Country Winston, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane.

Sigh No More is the follow up from the band’s three Eps: Mumford & Sons’, ‘Love Your Ground’ and ‘The Cave and The Open Sea’.

‘Little Lion Man’ is released digitally on October 2nd, 2009. ‘

Sigh No More’ is due out on October 16th, 2009 through Gentlemen of the Road/Dew Process.
