The 15-year veterans of the Aussie music scene were announced winners of the award at a ceremony earlier this week.
Other winners on the night were Sydney duo The Presets’s Kim Moyes and Julian Hamilton who took home APRA songwriters of the year for their album, Apocalypso.
Fellow Sydney outfit Faker won most played Australian work with their single, This Heart Attack.
AC/DC took out most played overseas work for Highway to Hell.
Surprise of the night was Old Man River aka Ohad Rein who took home the blues and roots work of the year for his work, Sunshine.
