Dappled Cities

Dappled Cities has put out the call to emerging artists from across Australia to submit work for their upcoming shows.

The Sydney outfit will play two shows in July in support of their new album, Zounds.

“We are looking for 12 artists in each city to create an artwork which will form the focus of these events,” a statement from the band said.

“Work can be of any genre (installation, sculpture, performance art, video) and all profits of the sale f the work will be given to the artist.

“The only limitations: work must be able to be contained within an industrial storage unit and relate in some manner to a new tack off Dappled Cities’ upcoming full-length.”

Dappled Cities new album, Zounds, will be released on August 15.

The first single off the new album, The Price, will be released on June 1.
