Little Birdy has scored a top 10 debut with their latest record.

The Perth outfit has secured a top six debut on the mainstream Australian Aria charts with their third album, Confetti.

Little Birdy is the only Aussie artist in the top 20.

Eminem rushed the top spot with a bullet with his latest release, Relapse.

The US rapper narrowly beat out fellow country-men in Green Day who rocketed to the second spot with their newie, 21st Century Breakdown.

The next best placed indie Australian artist is Empire Of The Sun with their debut, Walking On A Dream.

Interestingly, Little Birdy’s singer Katy Steele and Empire Of The Sun singer Luke Steele are brother and sister.

While Eminem and Green Day may look as though they are sitting pretty, expect another West Australian storm in the form of Eskimo Joe.

Eskimo Joe will release their much anticipated album, Inshalla, this weekend.
