Clare Bowditch
Clare Bowditch plans to team with a number of different producers on her next studio album.
The Melbourne singer is in the process of recording tracks for a new album.
“What this next album will be – I still don’t know,” Bowditch said.
“I do know that it will be different, simply because of the fact that we will be using a series of different producers who we admire.”
Another difference with the new album is that it will be recorded not only in Bowditch’s back shed in Melbourne, but also in the back sheds in Berlin.
Bowditch plans to head back to Berlin in August. The singer relocated to Europe for a number of months last year.
“I know it will be different because I wrote it mainly on piano and Casio. And I know it will be different because I am different. That’s about all I know. When I know more, I will let you know, I promise,” she said.
Bowditch can next be seen at the Zhivagos Blue Atlas Winter Ball at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on July 4.
She will be the guest of Charles Jenkins.
