Lily Allen can take the piss out of almost every situation.

Lily Allen can take the piss out of almost every situation.
The UK singer has a brilliant talent of taking mundane, everyday situations and spinning them into international sensations.

Lily Allen
Allen stunned the world in 2006 with her debut, Alright, Still, with songs about junkies, ex-boyfriend’s small packages and a brother who liked to smoke the weed.
She’s returned a few years later, older a little wiser though still as funny.
In a whirl of colourful tunes, wicked samples and deliberate insults, Allen’s latest record is pure genius.
Five stars
