Jet has released the first taste of their much-anticipated third album.

The Melbourne band has released a new track, K.I.A (Killed In Action) to their website.

It is not known if the track will be released as the band’s first single from their as yet titled new album.

Jet’s new album is apparently being recorded in Atlantic Sound Studios in New York City, according to the band’s Wikipedia page.

Jet were last in the country in March to perform as part of the Sound Relief concerts to raise funds for survivors of the Victorian bushfires and Queensland floods.

Jet’s new album is set for release later this year.
