Gyroscope has inked a deal with Island Records Australia.
The Perth band signed the deal with the label last month.
Commenting on the signing, Gyroscope member Rob Nassif said: “Signing to Island Records earlier last month signifies the start of a relationship that we hope will help our music reach as many people as possible.
“Their enthusiasm for our band is matched by our passion to create a truly remarkable and memorable fourth record. “
Gyroscope have spent the last few months in the studio working on the follow up to their 2008 release, Breed The Obsession.
Island Records Australia was launched in 2007 by Universal Music Australia.
Gyroscope now joins an artist roster of fellow indie bands in Andy Bull and Gin Wigmore.
