Paul Mac has released a number of tracks he composed for a new Australian film.

Mac composed the four tracks for the film, Beautiful.

“I’ve just finished my first movie score which I am super proud of, so I wanted to share a bit of it to those that are interested,” the musician said.

“I don’t think I’ll release it but I’m putting my fave bits up on my myspace player for you to listen to.”

The four tracks are: Beautiful – opening titles, The backyard of earthy delights, on a mission, and Sherrie’s lament.

Beautiful follows the story of Daniel Hobson, a 14-year old boy living on a quiet street in the picture-perfect suburb of Sunshine Hills.

Following the continued disappearance of teenage girls, Hobson strikes up a friendship with Suzy Thompson, his obsession. The pair attempt to uncover the truth behind the girls disappearances.

Directed by Dean O’Flaherty, Beautiful stars Sebastian Gregory, Tahyna Tozzi, Peta Wilson, Deborra-Lee Furness, Aaron Jeffery, Asher Keddie and Erik Thomson.
