Splendour 2008 headliners: Devo

Organisers of this year’s Splendour In The Grass festival have released the events key dates.

The Byron Bay festival will be held on Saturday July 25 and Sunday July 26 this year.

Event organisers have also confirmed that the festival will again be staged at Belongil Fields.

Splendour hopes to be at its new home in 2010, the festival’s 10th anniversary, organisers said.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale in May with the first stage of the line-up to be released towards the end of April.

The rumour mill has begun to churn over who will headline this year’s festival.

With The Flaming Lips announcing a handful of Australian dates in July, and Ladytron, and Battles heading to our shores for the Brian Eno curated Luminous festival in May and June, the buzz over who will be available for the Aussie festival has begun.
