Lily Allen has scored her first number one album, after her new record rocketed to the top of the Australian album charts.

Two weeks before Allen arrives in Australia for a promo tour, the UK singer’s new album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ has debuted at the top spot on the Motorola ARIA charts.

The number one debut has also seen the album reach gold sales in Australia of over 35,000 copies.

In Australia, Allen’s single, ‘The Fear’ is a Top 10 single.

Meanwhile, Allen has secured a number one album debut placing Lily at the top of both the UK album and single charts.

Allen’s new album was written and recorded with Greg Kurstin (The Bird And The Bee).

It’s Not Me, It’s You is the follow up from Allen’s 2005 debut, Alright, Still.
