Missy Higgins will team with US singer Jason Mraz for a one off show this April.

Higgins and Mraz will perform together at ‘Music In The Park With Missy Higgins and Jason Mraz’ on Friday April 17 in Adelaide’s Bonython Park.

Higgins and Mraz have known each other for many years since first meeting at a tiny club in LA where the Melbourne singer was performing.

While the pair will both feature on the Blues & Roots Festivals in Byron Bay and Perth, this Adelaide concert will be their one and only co-headlining date.

“I did some touring with Jason in the States a few years back and I was blown away by his voice and his confidence on stage,” Higgins said.

“That, along with the fact that I hear he’s got a hit single at the moment means I reckon he’s going to be eaten alive by the Adelaidians. In a good way, of course!”

Bob Evans and US singer Eric Hutchinson will join Higgins and Mraz for the one-off performance.

Tickets for “Music In The Park With Missy Higgins and Jason Mraz” will go on sale from 9am, Thursday 19 February.
