John Butler Trio

The John Butler Trio will play their only Melbourne show for 2009 in April, after joining the bill of a new festival.

The Western Australia band has been named along a list of local and international acts for the inaugural Chill City music festival.

Paul Kelly, Betty Harris (USA) with The Bamboos, Ben Kweller (USA), Easy Star All Stars (USA), Dan Sultan, Whitley, and Mamie Minch (USA) will join John Butler Trio at the Melbourne event.

The John Butler Trio will play Chill City before heading into the studio to record their next album.

The trio is Australia’s most successful independent artist, selling more than 800,000 albums in Australia.
