Art of Fighting

The bass player with Art of Fighting as won an Australian literary award for a short story.

Peggy Frew took out the Age newspaper’s short story award.

Frew won the award for her story, “Home Visit”.

Home Visit is a story of a woman looking back to her early adolescence and the times she and her sister spent with their newly divorced father, and reflecting on her current life, a statement from the band’s management said.

Meanwhile, in other Art of Fighting news, band front man is working on a solo album.

Ollie Browne expects to release the as yet titled album in early 2009.
