The Temper Trap has inked a record deal with UK label, Infectious Records.
The Melbourne outfit signed the deal with the offshore label earlier this week.
The deal gives The Temper Trap exposure to a global market excluding Australia, New Zealand and North America.
The band’s record will be released in the UK, Europe and Japan this June.
Former Warner Music managing director Korda Marshall launched Infectious Records in 1993.
Meanwhile, The Temper Trap’s single, Sweet Disposition, is featured on the trailer for the latest US film (500) Days Of Summer.
The band has also been confirmed to play this year’s South By South West (SXSW) festival.
