Andrew Morris is set to release his new solo album in early 2009.

Morris will release his fourth solo album, Needs & Wants, on March 7 next year.

Written entirely on piano, Morris left his home town of Brisbane, heading south to record the album in five days at Adelphia Studios in Fitzroy, VIC with producer Marty Brown (Art Of Fighting, Clare Bowditch).

The singer was joined on the album by Steve Hesketh, Pat Bourke, Sime Nugent, Clare Bowditch and Laura Jean.
 
Needs & Wants is the follow up to his critically acclaimed 2007 LP Union Bars.

Morris’ new album is expected in store and online on March 7, 2009 through ABC Music/Universal Music Australia.
