Augie March joins Laneway

Augie March has been added to the second line-up announcement for next year’s St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.

The Melbourne outfit will join headliners Girl Talk at the Aussie summer festival in early 2009.

New acts added to the February and March event include: Rusko, Yves Klein Blue, Beaches, The Crayon Fields, Kes Band, Luluc, Machine Translations, My Disco, Oh Mercy, Pikelet, Fabulous Diamonds, Koko~Nuts!, Kitchen Knife Wife, and The Panics.

Will Stoker & The Embers, The Bank Holidays, The Tigers, The Waterslides, Clue To Kalo, Fire! Santa Rosa Fire, Firekites, Jack Ladder, Papa Vs Pretty, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Talons, and Sherlock’s Daughter have also been added to the festival.

Next year’s St Jerome’s Laneway Festival will also feature: Girl Talk, Stereolab, Architecture In Helsinki, The Hold Steady, The Drones, Cut Off Your Hands, Four Tet, Tame Impala, El Guincho, Jay Reatard, Buraka Som Sistema Dj/Mc Set, The Temper Trap, No Age, John Steel Singers, Canyons, Pivot, Port O’brien, Holly Throsby, Born Ruffians, Mountains In The Sky, Tim Fite , Still Flyin, Daedelus, Harmonic 313 and Hermitude
