Crystal Castles have been added to the line up for next year’s Playground Weekender festival.

The Canadian duo will join the likes of Primal Scream, The Streets, and Soul II Soul at the February event.

As well as playing the New South Wales festival, Crystal Castles will play solo shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.

Since forming in 2004, the duo of Ethan Fawn and Alice Glass have toured extensively in the UK, Europe and North America, sharing bills with the Klaxons and Metric.

They have also remixed tracks for the likes of Bloc Party and the Klaxons.
