Posted on 08 October 2008 by Kate Kachor

The Drones are set to release the second single off their much anticipated new album later this month.

The Melbourne band will release, Oh My, to radio this week. The first single was The Minotaur.

Both singles have been taken from their new album, Havilah.

The Drones will head out on a national Australian tour in support of the new album later this month.

The band will kick off their tour with a support spot for New Yorker Patti Smith on October 15.

Havilah was produced by the band and Burke Reid (The Mess Hall, Gerling). Reid also acted as the album’s engineer.

The album is The Drones’ fourth studio release. It follows on from the band’s AMP (Australian Music Price) award nominated album, Gala Mill (2006) and AMP winning record, Wait Long By The River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float By (2005).
