78 Saab have begun work on their new studio album.

The Sydney-based band spent the weekend in the studio to record their fourth album.

“Last weekend was spent locked indoors getting another 8 songs down for album number 4,” the band said.

“It’s going along very well and hopefully we’ll be back in the studio to record them properly before too long.”

78 Saab’s fourth album is the follow up to their 2007 album, The Bells Line.

The Bells Line was produced by Wayne Connolly (Youth Group, Josh Pyke, The Vines).
