Luke Steele has revealed details of a number of side projects he is working on.

The frontman with The Sleepy Jackson will release a new album with Pnau member Nick Littlemore later this year.

Steele and Littlemore will release their first album as collaborators in October. They will release the album under the name, Empire Of The Sun.

The duo have released the first single off the album, Walking On A Dream.

Meanwhile, Steele has been in the studio with Silverchair front man Daniel Johns working on their new sideproject.

“It kind of started out a White Album thing because we don’t have a band, it was acoustics. And from there it kind of went a bit haywire. It’s pretty pop. I guess it’s quite low down, there’s country songs…,” Steele told Triple J’s Richard Kingsmill. (Click here for the full story)

Steele and Johns’ new project is to be named Hathaway and Palmer after William Hathaway and Walter Palmer, Steele said.
