The Aussie rockers will release ‘Black Ice’ on October 18.
Black Ice is the band’s first studio album since 2000′s release, Stiff Upper Lip.
The album was produced by Brendan O’Brien (Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, among others) at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver.
The first single off the new album is ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Train’, which will debut around the world on August 28.
AC/DC intend to head out on an extensive world tour in late October. The tour will mark the group’s first since 2001.
Meanwhile, the band will release a new DVD, “No Bull: The Director’s Cut,” next month. The DVD is a newly edited expanded DVD edition of AC/DC’s historic performance at Madrid’s Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas on July 10, 1996.
The album is the band’s debut album for Columbia Records, and their 18th for Australia’s Albert Productions.
