Gotye will head out on a headlining tour of Europe later this year.

The Melbourne artist will travel across Europe in September in support of the international release of his album, Like Drawing Blood.

Fellow Aussie singer Clare Bowditch will join Gotye on tour.

The September tour has been on the cards for awhile, with Gotya aka Wally De Backer testing the waters in Europe earlier this year.

Before he jets off to Europe, Gotye will join the likes of The Vines, Grandmaster Flash, Midnight Juggernauts, Bootsy Collins, and My Bloody Valentine at this year’s FujiRock music festival in Japan later this month.

Gotye released his second album, Like Drawing Blood, in Australia in 2006.
