The Vines will release their much anticipated fourth album this weekend.

The Sydney band will release Melodia on July 12.

The new album is the first for the band on their new record label, Ivy League Records.

The Vines will play a one off show in Sydney on July 16 in support of the new album. The show will be held at The Manning Bar and is being recorded by national youth broadcaster, Triple J.

Following this show, The Vines will head to Japan for the Fuji Rock Festival on July 25 and Splendour In The Grass, August 2.

Melodia includes fourteen new songs, including new single, He’s A Rocker.

The Vines reteamed with producer Rob Schnapf to record their new album.

Schnapf produced two of the band’s previous records, Highly Evolved and Winning Days.
