Jebediah will jet off overseas later this year to perform as part of the Baybeats festival.

The Perth band will perform as part of the Singapore festival this August.

Jebediah have been pretty quiet since announcing late last year they would regroup for a new album. The band has been on hiatus while band members, mainly Kevin Mitchell, work on solo projects.

“Those of you living in WA or Adelaide may have seen us air a couple of new songs at gigs recently. We have been jamming for ages now, trying to get a really solid set of songs together and plans are now in motion to begin recording album number 5,” the band said.

Jebediah intend to head out on an East Coast tour later this year. No dates have been confirmed.

Jebediah singer Kevin Mitchell, taking the name Bob Evans, has released a number of solo albums, most recently being 2006′s Suburban Songbook.
