Xavier Rudd is among a number of Aussie acts added to the line-up of this year’s Glastonbury music festival in the UK.

The Melbourne singer will share the stage with the likes of Operator Please, Hilltop Hoods, Sons & Daughters and Ladyhawke. Veteran acts Crowded House and the Hoodoo Gurus have also been added to the bill.

International headlining acts for the June festival include Kings of Leon, The Fratellis, The Gossip, and The Verve, to name but a few.

Meanwhile, Rudd is working on his seventh studio album to be released later this year.

The new album is the follow up to his sixth album, White Moth, which was released in June last year.

The 2008 Glastonbury festival will be held between June 27 – 29 this year.
