Wolfmother are keen to make a solid return the local scene with the trio set to play a number of new shows in the coming months.

The Sydney outfit has been added to the line up of this year’s Bass In The Grass festival.

They join the list of first round acts including Powderfinger, Hilltop Hoods, Gyroscope, Potbellez, The Audreys, Mammal, and Hercules in NY, to play the Darwin event.

Wolfmother played their first local gig in nine months earlier this month when they played a one off ‘Up Late’ show at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane on April 12.

According to Wolfmother’s myspace page, the band will also perform at this year’s Pemberton Festival in Canada.

As the band’s North American show isn’t until July, there could perhaps be room for a national Australian tour, though nothing has been confirmed.
