Powderfinger will release a re-worked version of their latest album next month.

The Brisbane band will release a limited edition two disc set of Dream Days at the Hotel Existence on Saturday April 19.

The album includes a free DVD of their performance on the steps of the Sydney Opera House. It also features special guest appearances by Nic Cester of Jet, Missy Higgins and Australian song writing legend, Kev Carmody.

Meanwhile, Powderfinger will jet off to the UK in the coming months after securing a spot on the bill of this year’s O2 Wireless Festival.

They will share the stage with the likes of Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and Counting Crows at the London festival.

Other acts announced for the four day festival include Fatboy Slim, Underworld and Bootsy Collins, The Hold Steady and Delays, with more names to come.
