A week after announcing a national headlining tour, The Panics have scored gold with their latest album.

The Perth band picked up a gold record for their album, Cruel Guards. The album was released six months ago through Dew Process/UMA.

“It is very gratifying to see our hard work translate into serious record sales. Thanks to all the people that have bought the record and been supporting us for the last few years,” band member, Jae Laffer said.

The gold record continues a run of success for The Panics.

The band are about to embark on an international tour of US and the UK. Earlier this month The Panics announced they will return home for a major national tour in May.

The Aussie tour will see The Panics tour both regional and capital cities.
