Holly Throsby has spent time in the US working on a new album, though not her own.

The Sydney singer has provided vocals for Canadian singer Hayden’s new album, In Field & Town.

The album is available in Canada and the US on Hardwood Records and will be out soon in Australia on Spunk Records.

Meanwhile, Throsby joined singer Andrew Bird on stage to sing a couple of songs at his recent Sydney gig.

The pair sung Bird’s song ‘Spare-Ohs’ and the Handsome Family song called ‘Tin Foil’.

Late last year Throsby joined Sarah Blasko on stage for a duet of the Beatles classic, Elenor Rigby.

In July last year Throsby released her new 6-track EP, ‘One of You for Me’.
