UK outfit The Wombats have been added to the white hot line-up of local and international acts for this year’s Playground Weekender event.

As well as The Wombats, other acts added to the bill include Blue Juice, Ben Lee, Urthboy, Maximo Park, Ian Brown, and Ben Watt (of Everything But The Girl fame).

Organisers for the March long-weekend festival have confirmed that early bird tickets have sold out, though tickets are still available.

Full-priced weekend tickets (incl camping) are now on sale at $180+bf and single day tickets (no camping) for $90+bf from www.ticketek.com.au, and www.moshtix.com.au.
