Love Outside Andromeda split

Posted on 11 February 2008 by admin

Love Outside Andromeda has quit with band members splitting to form new projects.

The band’s front women Sianna Lee confirmed to elevenmagazine.com.au that Melbourne outfit had split.

“The band have split up-which I am still finding a little sad, but everyone has new projects on the go,” Lee said.

“Jamie is in the Blowaves, Jesse has formed Minatures of Massive, Joe is playing in theredsunband and a few others.

“I’m just writing and demo-ing at the moment. I not have recruited a band yet. I have not got a new label yet and have no plans to play any solo shows until the demos are done-my deadline march 1st…I’m taking things slowly for now.”

News of the band’s split ends a year of speculation. In December 2006 the band announced they would take 2007 as a break to decide their future.

Love Outside Andromeda released two full-length albums Something White and Sigmund, and Longing Was a Good Place to Hide. Both albums were funded by the band.
