The Presets will join the likes of Spiderbait, Little Red and Sneaky Sound System on the first ever Townsville leg of this year’s Groovin the Moo festival.

The regional music festival, which has established a following in both Maitland, NSW and Albury-Wodonga, NSW/VIC, will travel to Townsville for the first time this year.

Other acts featuring at the event are The Herd, Gyroscope, Karnivool, Custom Kings, The Galvatrons, Lover (local), Sacred Stereos (local).

Katalyst, The Potbelleez, Azzido Da Bass (GER), Pitch Black (NZ), Bass Kleph, Dirty Laundry, Mark Dynamix, Hercules in NY, Amber Savage, and Beats Collective (local) have also been added to the line-up.

The show is the first in a long line of dates for The Presets in 2008. As well as playing Groovin the Moo, they will perform at this year’s MS Fest, St Jeromes Laneway festival and the Australian leg of the V Festival.

The Presets will also venture back on the international music circuit with shows slated for Europe and the US in March, April and May.
